On November 5th, 2019 at approximately 12:40pm, the Glendale Police Department responded to the intersection of W. Reindl Way & N. Lydell Ave in reference to a motor vehicle accident and a subject that was reported to be unconscious. 

Upon arrival at the scene, Glendale Police Department Officers located (3) motor vehicles that were involved in an accident.  A UW-Milwaukee Police Officer and North Shore Fire/Rescue Med 83 were already on scene treating a victim of the motor vehicle accident, but the victim subsequently died from injuries.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office was requested to respond to the scene along with the Wisconsin State Patrol to conduct an accident reconstruction.

The crash remains under investigation by the Glendale Police Department with the assistance of the Wisconsin State Patrol, and the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office.

This is an ongoing, active investigation.  More information may be released when deemed appropriate to do so.  


Update 11-6-19

On Tuesday, November 5th, 2019, Glendale Police Department responded to the intersection of W. Reindl Way and N. Lydell Avenue in reference to an accident involving (3) motor vehicles.

The operator in one of the motor vehicles subsequently died from her injuries and has been identified as V Suzanne Watkins, 62 years of age, of Milwaukee.

The motor vehicle accident investigation is ongoing and no further information is being release at this time.

The Glendale Police Department offers our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the victim.
