If the citation specifically states “YES” in the box to the right of “Appearance Required”, then you must appear for the date and time scheduled.
As it is the policy of this Court, I am permitted to grant ONE adjournment without your personal appearance. Please complete the attached form and return it to the Court at your earliest convenience. If receive prior to the alternative sentencing being processed, you will be notified of the new date by mail. Be certain to update the court with your current mailing address as requested, [800.035(2)(a)5].
If the citation was personally served, the Court may find you guilty by default, and will impose a penalty. If you were served by mail, a Summons will be issued Ordering your appearance in court on another date. A Warrant for your personal appearance may also be issued.

One or more of the following penalties may be Ordered by the Court’s discretion: reinstatement of the original charge, reinstatement /increase of the original forfeiture, suspension of your driving privileges, suspension of your vehicle registration, a commitment to jail, certification of debt with the Department of Revenue or collection agency.

If you have previously been to court, found guilty and need more time to pay, you are required to return to court on the due date indicated on your paperwork to speak with the Judge. The Judge is the only person in our Court that has the authority to Grant an extension of time.
Restitution will be paid to the Victim via the North Shore Municipal Court/City of Glendale. Note: The Court does not have the authority to impose penalties for the defendant’s failure to pay the restitution due.
