Spring Reminder

The public works department would like to remind residents NOT to rake leaves or yard waste to the curb in the Spring. Yard waste and leaves will be collected as part of the Brush & Yard Waste program. Please refer to the City's website regarding brush and yard waste.

Green Tree Road Bridge Construction

Stage 2 of the construction project will begin soon, which means Green Tree Road will be fully closed east of the bridge to the west of N Elm Tree Road. Jean Nicolet Road will also be fully closing from Green Tree Road to Nicolet High School Athletic Field Entrance. This will take place Monday, June 11 at 5:00 a.m.

In addition, Green Tree Road Bridge will get taken down Friday, June 15 and Saturday June 16. This means closing the freeway in both the North Bound and South Bound directions of I-43 to do this work. The times for the North Bound direction are from 8:00 p.m.-8:00 a.m. The times for the South Bound direction are from 8:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m. 
  • The detour route will be utilizing Good Hope Road, WIS 57 (Green Bay Road) and Silver Spring Drive to connect back with I-43 in both directions.

For the month of June Music in the Glen & Sundays in the Park performances will take place at the Richard E. Maslowski Community Park located at, 2200 W Bender Rd.

Got Talent?

If you're age 6 - 18, sign up by June 15 to be a part of Glendale 4th of July Talent Show. Solos and groups welcome! First, Second and Third place prizes for age categories 6 - 9; 10 - 13 and 14 -18.

2018 Wisconsin Beer Lovers Festival

The Wisconsin Beer Lovers Festival is the premier beer and food pairing event of the summer for Wisconsinites and visitors from all over the U.S. 87 Events, All About Beer Magazine and the Wisconsin Brewers Guild, City of Glendale and the Bayshore Town Center to host the top Brewers from across the state of Wisconsin alongside local restaurants and cheesemakers that will provide samplings.
