Water Meter Replacement

The City of Glendale is partnering with HydroCorp to exchange approximately 1,700 water meters in the City of Glendale. Benefits of water meter replacement are:

(1) More accurate water usage data: the utility department will have access to the water consumption data.

(2) Reduced wear and tear: proactive in identifying leaks.

Letters are being mailed to residents for scheduling if they have one of the Badger Meters. If you received a letter, please schedule your appointment online at www.hydrocorpinc.com/glendale or call HydroCorp directly at 844-493-7641 between Monday – Friday at 7:00am – 5:00pm CST.

The appointment must be scheduled during the hours of 8:00am to 5:20pm, Monday - Friday. Appointments will be scheduled in 40-minute intervals. Someone over the age of 18 must meet the technician on-site to complete the appointment. All HydroCorp employees wear photo I.D. badges with their full name included. Always ask to see the I.D. badge before you allow entry into your home. To ensure the safety of our technicians, please keep the driveway and path to the front door clear of snow and ice.

Prior to the scheduled appointment, it is the property owner's responsibility to:

(1) Provide a clear, unobstructed access to the water meter. This means the technician has access to operate both valves and can access, remove, and replace the meter with both hands.

(2) Provide fully operable shut off valves on the City side of the meter. If the valve leaks or fails during the meter replacement, it is the property owner's responsibility to replace or repair the valve. If it is found to be unable to exchange the meter due to accessibility or because of obvious deterioration of the valves, the meter exchange may have to be rescheduled after the property owner has made the necessary repairs.

If you have symptoms or have been in contact with someone who tested positive within 14 days, please call HydroCorp at 844-493-7641 to reschedule your appointment for a later date.
